In my time at Lancaster I've been GSA Vice-President and represented graduate students on Academic Council and University Senate as well as to the Graduate College, Graduate School and university. I've also been the LUSU Postgraduate Rep for two years, and held the roles of both project officer and Minutes Secretary on the National Postgraduate Committee's Executive.

In my time with the GSA and assisting them I've attended many UK wide NPC meetings on behalf of the different GSA Presidents over the last few years. I've negotiated with the university on compensation for building works (getting a record settlement for the students I represented). I've faught the university to prevent damaging changes being made to rules affecting postgrads - and won. I've also worked on college budgetting, helped with extravs and organised socials.

The college system is something special at Lancaster, we need to do more than simply protect college autonomy. We need to put the resources in to support the colleges.
